Drylining

C&I Southwest has become the first-choice installer for many clients looking for a reliable, quality-driven and cost effective drylining service.

Drylining is the fitting of plasterboard to any surface instead of a traditional hard plaster finish and has become standard practice in today’s commercial and domestic building developments.

Drylining involves adhering plasterboard to walls using a bonding adhesive or screwing plasterboard to ceiling/wall metal support systems. The boards are then either plaster skimmed or tape and joint finished.

Thermal and acoustic properties of walls and ceilings can be raised in this process by using specialist thermal laminate plasterboard with insulation pre-bonded to the plasterboard and/or by fitting insulation between metal stud work.
